Pricing
Our prices are inclusive of VAT, exclude shipping and are subject to change dependent on seasonal availability. Our shipping costs vary according to the delivery area.
Recipient info
We can only work with what you give us and would love to execute your order as smoothly as possible. Please be sure to provide accurate contact details and addresses, especially additional information such as apartment number, security estate requirements, alternative contact details, direction instructions, etc. Please also be sure to enter a valid South African contact number.
Redelivery
In the unlikely event of an unsuccessful delivery, we will attempt to redeliver within one working day, or when we are scheduled to be in the delivery area again. Thereafter charges may incur should we need to purchase additional stock to fulfill your order.
Delivery process
If we arrive at the delivery address and there is no doorbell / intercom, and nobody appears to be home, our driver will call the recipient number provided to find a solution.
Should the recipient not answer, we will contact the sender to get permission to locate a neighbour, colleague or receptionist who is able to accept the delivery on their behalf.
If the delivery address is within a residential estate and the recipient is not home, we can request to leave the product with security. Please note not all estates accept this, and do not necessarily have vases on hand to store fresh cut bouquets.
If there is no way to complete the delivery, we will get in contact with you again to try and make alternative arrangements as soon as possible.
Flowers for Africa cannot be held liable for the condition of the order 12 hours after delivery has taken place. We will also not accept responsibility for the condition or theft of the order in instances where we have had to deliver to anyone but the recipient.
Operational hours
Our operational hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
Saturday: 07:30 – 14:00
Flower deliveries are to take place between 08:00 and 20:00.
Order cut off times:
Cut off for next day delivery: 13:00* (kindly contact us to confirm routes before ordering)
Cut off for same day delivery in selected areas:
Monday – Friday: 10:00
Saturday: 09:00
* Only applicable if we are set to deliver in your area the following day. Please enquire for more information.
Product variations
Every product is made to order and as such may vary from the advertised image. We try our best at all times to maintain the look and feel of the product you have ordered. Fillers and greenery are likely to vary throughout the year. Any major changes will be communicated with you prior to delivery/collection.
Complaints
Should we have disappointed you in some way, please email shop@flowersforafrica.co.za and include your order number as well as the reason for complaint, along with a photograph of your product taken within 12 hours of receipt. We will take it from there, and hopefully make things right.
