A bit of history

Back in the 90s, Flowers for Africa began its journey on Honeywell Road, Retreat, Cape Town, as a humble family-run florist. Working from the boot of a car, we brought joy to individuals, weddings, hotels, schools, and communities with our fresh, lovingly curated blooms. Over time, we grew from being the friendly florist “on the corner” to a trusted supplier for local retailers, expanding our offerings to include wholesale products.

Fast forward 30+ years to today, and while much has changed, the heart of Flowers for Africa remains the same: family. We continue to serve individuals, weddings, schools, hotels, corporates and various communities, but now with the added capability of national deliveries. Our partnerships with premium suppliers of the freshest product and major retailers, along with our fleet of vehicles enable us to provide same-day deliveries, ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of flowers, wherever they are.
